Last (hopefully) post on the In God We Trust Issue

Now that it has become law due to the passage of H.R. 2764 there isn't too much else to say about it. However, I thought that history has some say in this matter. When Roosevelt was going about the redesign of American coinage, he was not in favor of having the motto on coins as it was a form of irreverence.
